Venise Chan

Venise Chan () is a Hong Kong Former No. 1 Chinese tennis player. At age 12 yrs 318 days, became the youngest female since Paulette Moreno in 1977 to contest a Ladies' Open singles final in Hong Kong when she reached the title decider at the 2002 Hong Kong National Tennis Championships. She made her debut for the Hong Kong Fed Cup team in 2006, and has a 14-5 record as of February 2013. She won her sixth career pro circuit title at the US$10,000 Sharm El Sheikh F4 in Egypt(Jun 2012).
Chan made her WTA main draw debut at the 2013 Shenzhen Open under a wldcard entry. However, she lost in the first round to second seed Marion Bartoli 6-1 6-0.
She graduated from the University of Washington and the University of Cambridge.
